This photo of the Bron fair in 1906 is interesting because it shows not only the crowds of people and horses, but also the blacksmith's premises in the foreground on the left. His front yard is filled with pieces of metal agricultural equipment, possibly waiting to be repaired, and several horses are waiting, probably to receive new horseshoes. The days of the Bron Fair must have been an extremely busy time for him.
The blacksmith's forge was an exciting place for local children to visit and watch what was going on, as Robert Messer's and Roger Banks' memories prove.
