This old established and celebrated fair was held on Thursday (yesterday) and was largely attended by persons from all parts of the Kingdom. There was a good demand for heavy cart horses which realised good prices, but hackneys and cobs were not much in request useful numbers were selling gifts for hunters were selling well, the top price for one being 150 Guineas. Wool ranged from 11 pence and three farthings to to one shilling and tuppence.
