February 5th: Average Attendance for the week 61. No. on roll 75. No. present at all 65. The Attendance Officer called this afternoon. The schoolyard is getting in a very bad state through mud and standing water especially about the door. Physical exercises as far as possible are gone through in school taking about a dozen children at once — the rest looking on. The usual formation of lines previous to marching into school can seldom be accomplished for the same reason.
