The terrier of all the glebe lands, meadows, gardens, orchards, houses, stocks, implements, tenements, and portion of tithes belonging to the parsonage of Brampton Bryan in the county and diocese of Hereford taken by the view of us whose names are subscribed and presented unto the bishops registry as is required .....[for] the visitation of the Right Reverend Father in God Robert Lord Bishop of Hereford for the year of our lord 1615.

Imprimis for the Parsonage house and housing thereabout the house is stated containing one hall, one parlour both covered over with board floor and chambers above.

Also one kitchen and a kiln at the back there of, a buttery at the parlour side and a study at the parlour end. Two nether lodging chambers and one out house of one bay covered over and thatched.

Item one barn thatched of four bays at the east end, whereof is one bay for a hay house to the stable Adjoining it is an outhouse to the barn. At the west and is another bay for a hay house with an outhouse adjoining for a cow house. Item, an outhouse thatched to tie beasts in of two bays of low building and also a cart house at the garden end thatched.

For the Grounds about the house is about one acre and a half in two garden steeds (?), one backside one court behind the barn and the garden pool and one out fold.

The Outgrounds - The hill leasow four acres. A little leasow at the New Park two acres. The new leasow taken out of out of the meole field four acres. Saulter's Lane leasow lying in Leintwardine parish two acres. Shelderman's Bridge leasow three acres. One acre of tillage land in the parsonage field, and one acre in the Park Field.

For the tithes in the lordship of Stanedge, no tithes are paid to our Parson, in the rest of the parish he hath tithes after this sort — tithe corn in kind, tithe hay in kind, tithe lamb, tithe wool, pigs, geese, hemp, flax in kind, tithe herbage of strangers for parish grounds. Of inhabitants also where they convert their grounds to grazing or feeding, tithe cheese nine of every acre that maketh cheese five at Lammas and four at All Saints Tide. For calves reared 1/2 penny a calf. For calves killed or sold all above 5 shillings — 6d. All sold for five shillings or under — 4d. For bees 4d a stall killed or sold, Colts 1d each. Tithe apples in kind, tithe eggs two for every hen. For a sheep sold a half penny a sheep and if they buy again so many before shearing time nothing is paid. For ewes and lambs sold before Saint Mark's Day a penny a couple. It is 1/2 penny for the sale of the ewe and a half penny for the fall of the lamb. If the lambs be sold after Saint Marks Day, they are tithable in kind.

At Easter each communicant throughout the whole parish 2d. For a burial 6d, for a wedding 6d and 2d for the clerk. For a churching 6 pence. Also mortuaries are paid in Brompton, Pedwardine and Borford and are demanded in Stanedge.
