Open Studios in Brampton Bryan & Buckton
What is the Collective?
Brampton Bryan Collective is a group of artists, craftspeople, makers and creatives who rent converted barn studios/spaces from the Harley Estate in Brampton Bryan and Buckton. Find out more about us all below!
We have open days throughout the year where you can visit our studios, see what we all do, have lovely conversations, buy directly from our small businesses and support the local economy. We try to coincide with events at Aardvark Books or in the village so that you can really make a day of it.
Quite a few of us run workshops, including jewellery making, pottery, modern calligraphy, brush lettering, drawing, watercolour painting and letterpress printing. Coming to our open days is a great way to get a taste for the creative skills you could learn.

Open studio dates for 2025
Here are our upcoming dates for your diary:
- Sunday 25th May (coinciding with Aardvark Spring Bank Holiday Brocante): visit Alice Draws The Line (artist), Isatu Hyde (handmade pottery and ceramics), Mostly Flat (letterpress), Hayley Hutton Handwoven Textiles (handwoven homeware) and Jude Piper Glass Art (fused glass). We're open from 10am to 3pm. A map of where we all are is coming soon.
- Sunday 3rd August (Scarecrow Sunday)
- Sunday 7th December (Christmas Fair at Aardvark)
Opening hours are 10am to 3pm.
Please note: not all studios will be open on each date. If you're interested in visiting someone in particular, please do check that they'll be open before making a trip. We create an open studio map a few weeks before each event so you can print it out ready for your tour of all the studios open that day.
